| Product Description | |
TSG101(Tumor susceptibility 101) is a multi-domain cytoplasmic protein and fundamental component of ESCRT complex I, which is intimately involved in regulating the trafficking of proteins throughout the endosomal compartment. TSG101 plays a crucial role in cellular processes as TSG101 is involved in the regulation of the endosomal sorting complex required for transport (ESCRT), which is essential for the degradation of membrane proteins and the regulation of cellular signaling pathways. This function is particularly important in tumor suppression, as proper functioning of the ESCRT machinery can prevent the accumulation of signaling molecules that promote cell proliferation and survival, thereby inhibiting tumorigenesis. |
