Product Description

Akt2 is a member of the serine/threonine kinase Akt family. Akt2 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways that regulate metabolism, cell growth, and survival. Specifically, Akt2 is activated by phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) in response to insulin and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1).
