Product Description

GCGR(Glucagon receptor) also known as GLR is a glucagon receptor that is important in controlling blood glucose levels. It plays an important role in elevating the glucose concentration in the blood and has thus become one of the promising therapeutic targets for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus. Defects in this gene are a cause of non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM).
