Product Description

VAV2 is the second member of the VAV guanine nucleotide exchange factor family of oncogenes. Vav2 functions as a guanosine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for RhoG and RhoA-like GTPases, facilitating GDP to GTP exchange, which activates these GTPases involved in cytoskeletal dynamics, cell migration, and proliferation. Vav2 expression is restricted to hematopoietic cells, including erythroid, lymphoid, and myeloid lineages, suggesting a pivotal role in immune responses and hematopoiesis.
