| Product Description | |
HAUSP also known as USP7 belongs to the peptidase C19 family, which includes ubiquitinyl hydrolases. HAUSP plays a critical role in regulating the stability of tumor suppressor protein p53 by deubiquitinating p53, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing tumorigenesis. HAUSP is predominantly localized in the nucleus, where HAUSP associates with nuclear structures known as ND10, which are involved in various cellular processes such as stress response, oncogenesis, and viral infection. HAUSP binding to ND10 is significant because this interaction highlights HAUSP′s role in modulating cellular responses to stress and potential implications in cancer biology. |
