| Product Description | |
CREBBP also known as KAT3A, CBP is ubiquitously expressed and is involved in the transcriptional coactivation of many different transcription factors. CREBBP plays a crucial role in gene expression regulation by acting as a co-activator for numerous transcription factors, particularly those activated by cyclic AMP signaling. CREBBP is primarily located in the nucleus, where CREBBP interacts with transcription factors like CREB, facilitating the transcription of target genes essential for processes such as cell growth, differentiation, and response to hormonal signals. CREBBP′s nuclear localization enables precise regulation of gene expression in response to various stimuli, thereby influencing cellular functions and maintaining homeostasis. CREBBP undergoes post-translational modifications, including acetylation and phosphorylation, which can further modulate CREBBP′s activity and interactions with other proteins, underscoring CREBBP′s significance in cellular signaling pathways. |
