Product Description

CHD4 also known as Mi-2b, Mi2-BETA belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family. CHD4 plays a significant role in gene expression regulation by mediating histone deacetylation. CHD4′s ability to recruit histone deacetylases, such as HDAC1 and HDAC2, is vital for maintaining the balance between gene activation and repression, making CHD4 essential for proper cellular function and development. Dysregulation of CHD4 and associated complexes can lead to various diseases, including cancer, highlighting the importance of studying CHD4 in understanding transcriptional regulation and disease implications.
