| Product Description | |
MST2 also known as KRS1, STK3 is Krs-1 is a member of the mammalian Ste20-like kinases, which are part of the GCK subfamily of serine/threonine kinases. MST2 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of apoptosis and cell proliferation. MST2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and can translocate to the nucleus under certain conditions, which is significant for modulating various signaling cascades, including those activated by G protein-coupled receptors. MST2 phosphorylates specific substrates, including itself, allowing participation in the activation of downstream effectors such as ERK and JNK, which are vital for cellular responses to stress and growth signals. |
