Product Description

Nesprin-3 also known as NESP3, SYNE3 belongs to the Nesprin family. Nesprin-3 is a protein that links intermediate filaments to the nucleus, regulates endothelial cell morphology, perinuclear cytoskeletal organization, and flow-induced cell polarization and migration. Involved in cytoskeleton organization; establishment of protein localization to membrane; and regulation of cell shape. Located in nuclear membrane. Part of meiotic nuclear membrane microtubule tethering complex. Biomarker of Huntington's disease.
