| Product Description | |
Sox17 also known as SOX-17, PPH7 is a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. Sox17 plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during embryonic development, particularly in endoderm formation and pancreas and liver development. Sox17′s ability to bind specific DNA sequences enables function as a transcription factor, influencing stem cell fate and differentiation into various cell types. Proper Sox17 function is essential for normal development, and dysregulation has been implicated in various developmental disorders and diseases, including certain types of cancer. |
