Product Description

Integrin β3 also known as CD61, ITGB3 is a crucial component of integrin receptors, which are heterodimers formed by the noncovalent association of α and β subunits. Integrin β3 mediates cell adhesion and signaling by interacting with ligands in the extracellular matrix, such as fibronectin and collagen, as well as soluble ligands like fibrinogen. These interactions drive various cellular processes, including cell migration, growth, and differentiation. Integrin β3 enables platelet activation and plays a significant role in hemostasis and thrombosis, making Integrin β3 a key target for therapeutic interventions in cardiovascular diseases.
