| Product Description | |
Annexin A7 also known as Annexin VII, synexin, ANXA2 is a member of the annexin family. Annexin A7 plays a crucial role in cellular processes by binding to phospholipids in a calcium-dependent manner, which is essential for membrane trafficking and cellular signaling. Annexin A7 is primarily located at the plasma membrane in normal muscle tissue, where Annexin A7 is involved in the regulation of ion flux and cellular adhesion. In Duchenne′s muscular dystrophy, Annexin A7 is released into the cytoplasm and subsequently into the extracellular space, indicating Annexin A7′s potential role in disease progression and muscle degeneration. |
