| Product Description | |
Vitronectin aslo known V75, VTN is a crucial extracellular matrix glycoprotein. Vitronectin plays a significant role in cell adhesion, motility, and wound healing, making Vitronectin essential for tissue repair and regeneration. Vitronectin is primarily located in the extracellular matrix and plasma, where Vitronectin interacts with various cell types to facilitate adhesion and migration. The presence of the RGD (Arg-Gly-Asp) sequence within Vitronectin is particularly important, as this sequence is a key motif recognized by integrins, which are vital for cell attachment to the extracellular matrix. Increased expression of Vitronectin has been observed in migrating cells during wound healing, highlighting Vitronectin′s role in promoting smooth muscle cell migration. |
