| Product Description | |
N-WASP also known as WASL is a member of the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS) protein family. N-WASP plays a crucial role in actin polymerization and cytoskeletal organization, which are essential processes for various cellular functions, including cell motility, shape maintenance, and intracellular transport. N-WASP is vital for the Cdc42-induced formation of filopodia, which are slender, actin-rich projections that extend from the cell surface and are involved in sensing the extracellular environment and facilitating cell movement. N-WASP interaction with the Arp2/3 complex is critical for enhancing actin polymerization, thereby promoting dynamic reorganization of the cytoskeleton. |
