Product Description

P67phox also known as NOXA2, NCF2 plays a crucial role in immune response by participating in NADPH oxidase complex activation, which is essential for reactive oxygen species production in neutrophils and other phagocytic cells. This process is vital for pathogen destruction, and mutations in p67-phox have been implicated in chronic granulomatous disease, a hereditary condition compromising immune system function. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
