Product Description

TRAF3 is a member of the TNF receptor associated factor (TRAF) protein family. TRAF3 plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses and cell signaling pathways, particularly in the context of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor-mediated signaling. TRAF3 is primarily involved in the formation of signaling complexes that modulate the activation of nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways, which are essential for the immune response and inflammation. Proper functioning of TRAF3 is vital, as dysregulation can lead to various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancer. TRAF3 interacts with other proteins in the TNF receptor superfamily, such as TRAF1 and TRAF2, to form heterodimeric complexes that enhance signaling efficiency.
