| Product Description | |
Cyclosporin A also known as PPIase A, CYPA, PPIA is a member of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. Cyclosporin′s intracellular location allows interaction with various cellular components, including the immunosuppressant cyclosporin A (CsA), forming a trimolecular complex alongside calcineurin to inhibit calcineurin phosphatase activity. This inhibition is crucial for regulating T cell activation, making Cyclosporin a key player in immune responses. Additionally, Cyclosporin is incorporated into the virion of the type 1 human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1), where Cyclosporin interacts directly with the capsid domain of the viral Gag polyprotein, facilitating efficient viral replication. |
