Product Description

DMP1(Dentin matrix acidic phosphoprotein 1) is an extracellular matrix protein and a member of the small integrin binding ligand N-linked glycoprotein family. DMP1 plays a crucial role in regulating cell cycle progression and transcriptional activation. DMP1 (DMTF5I250) antibody localizes primarily in the nucleus, where DMP1 functions as a transcription factor that binds to specific DNA sequences to modulate gene expression. This nuclear localization is vital for controlling the expression of genes involved in cell proliferation and differentiation, making DMP1 a key player in hematopoiesis and oncogenesis. DMP1 contains three tandem Myb repeats, which are essential for DNA-binding activity, and has been identified as a substrate for cyclin D-dependent kinases, linking DMP1 to cell cycle regulation.
