Product Description | |
TRIM25 also known as Z147, RNF147, ZNF147, EFP is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The structural composition of EFP allows for precise interaction with estrogen receptors, facilitating transcriptional regulation of target genes in response to estrogen signaling. This interaction is vital for growth, differentiation, and function of various tissues, highlighting EFP′s importance in mediating estrogen′s effects. The regulation of EFP gene expression involves multiple promoter elements and interacting factors, which underscores EFP′s role in a broader signaling cascade that influences secondary estrogen-responsive genes. |
