DYNLT1 also known as CW-1, TCTEL1, Tctex1 is a cytoplasmic dynein light chain. DYNLT1 plays a crucial role in the transport of cellular cargo along microtubules, which is essential for maintaining cellular organization and function. DYNLT1 is expressed in various human tissues, including the heart, placenta, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, spleen, prostate, testis, ovary, ileum, and colon, highlighting its importance in diverse physiological processes.
