| Product Description | |
MST1 also known as KRS2, STK4 is a member of the mammalian Ste20-like kinase family, which plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways that regulate cell growth, survival, and apoptosis. MST1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and can translocate to the nucleus under certain conditions, which is significant for its function in mediating stress responses and promoting cell survival. MST1 is known to interact with various signaling molecules, including caspase-3, which MST1 activates, thereby influencing apoptotic pathways. MST1′s ability to phosphorylate substrates and itself is essential for regulatory functions in the MAPK signaling cascade, making MST1 a vital component in the cellular response to external stimuli. |
