| Product Description | |
RHAMM also known as IHABP, CD168, HAMR is a matrix receptor. which is linked to the plasma membrane by a GPI anchor and regulates cell motility. RHAMM plays a crucial role in regulating cell motility and adhesion, which are vital processes in tissue repair and immune response. RHAMM is primarily located on the cell surface, anchored to the plasma membrane by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor, allowing RHAMM to interact with the extracellular matrix and other signaling molecules. RHAMM localization facilitates communication between cells and their environment, influencing cellular behaviors such as migration and proliferation, particularly in cancer progression. |
