Product Description

The CGRP-receptor complement protein (CGRP-RCP) also designated CRCP is an accessory protein that is expressed in CGRP responsive tissues. CRCP is associated with the acrosome, thereby playing a role in reproduction. Specifically, CRCP couples the CGRP receptor to downstream effectors. This gene encodes a membrane protein that functions as part of a receptor complex for a small neuropeptide that increases intracellular cAMP levels.
