RhoA is a member of the Rho family of small GTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and active GTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signal transduction cascades.RhoA plays a crucial role in regulating the actin cytoskeleton, which is essential for various cellular processes such as cell shape, motility, and division. Proper function of RhoA is vital for maintaining cellular integrity and facilitating communication between cells, particularly in response to external signals. Dysregulation of Rho A has been implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer, where altered signaling pathways can lead to increased cell migration and invasion.
