| Product Description | |
TPBG(Trophoblast glycoprotein) also known as 5T4 is a leucine-rich transmembrane glycoprotein that may be involved in cell adhesion. TPBG expression has been linked to cytoskeletal remodeling and signaling programs that influence epithelial–mesenchymal transition–like behaviors, including modulation of Wnt/β-catenin–associated processes and cell migration pathways. In human tissues and disease models, altered TPBG levels are frequently used as a marker of invasive cellular phenotypes, supporting investigations into mechanisms underlying tumor progression and metastasis-associated biology. Its membrane localization and association with migratory phenotypes make TPBG a useful node for studying cell–cell interactions and microenvironmental responses. |
