MKK7 also known as MEK7, MAP2K7 is a dual specificity protein kinase that belongs to the MAP kinase kinase family. MKK7 plays a crucial role in activating the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) signaling pathway, which regulates cellular responses to stress, inflammation, and apoptosis. MKK7-mediated JNK activation is particularly important in various physiological and pathological processes, including cell differentiation, survival, and response to environmental stimuli.
