Product Description

HCK(Hematopoietic cell kinase) is a member of the Src family of tyrosine kinases. HCK plays a crucial role in hematopoietic signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of immune cell functions. HCK is predominantly expressed in hematopoietic cells, especially granulocytes, where Hck is involved in processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. HCK′s importance lies in its ability to modulate signaling cascades that govern immune responses, making HCK a vital player in the body′s defense mechanisms. HCK is located on chromosome 20q11-q12 and encodes a 505 amino acid protein, which is typically maintained in an inactive state and can be activated during cellular events like mitosis.
