Product Description

FoxM1(Forkhead box M1) also known as FKHL16, HFH11, INS-1, PIG29 is a critical transcription factor located predominantly in the nucleus of proliferating cells, where FOXM1 plays an essential role in regulating the expression of genes involved in cell cycle progression, particularly the transition from G1 to S phase and mitotic entry by activating key cell cycle regulators like cyclin B1, cyclin D1, and Cdc25B. Nuclear localization of FOXM1 is vital for controlling cellular proliferation, DNA replication, and repair processes, making FOXM1 a key player in maintaining normal cell growth and tissue regeneration. Dysregulation of FOXM1, often resulting in overexpression, is closely associated with various cancers, as FOXM1 can lead to uncontrolled cell division and tumor progression.
