| Product Description | |
PCNA(Proliferating cell nuclear antigen) is a critical nuclear protein involved in DNA replication and repair in eukaryotic cells. PCNA forms a ring structure that acts as a scaffold for recruiting proteins, supporting DNA polymerases during replication. PCNA plays key roles in DNA metabolism, chromatin remodeling, cell cycle regulation, and DNA repair pathways, ensuring high-fidelity DNA replication. PCNA is regulated by post-translational modifications, allowing dynamic response to DNA damage and maintenance of genomic integrity. Dysregulation of PCNA is linked to cancer, making PCNA an important biomarker for prognosis and a potential therapeutic target. |
