Product Description | |
L-Ascorbic acid is also known as vitamin C,L-Ascorbic Acid, Free Acid protects cells against the damaging effects of radiation and oxygen radicals. L-Ascorbic Acid increases the rate of mineralization in osteoblasts, is involved in hydroxylation of proline and lysine, reduces Na+/Ca2+ exchange in cultured astrocytes and modulates cyclic nucleotide levels in B and T cells inhibits apoptosis in cultured rat ovarian follicles. Shown to inhibit T-type Ca++ CP α 1H. It can serve as an electron donor and powerful antioxidant. It is reported to be useful in enhancing the generation of human and mouse chemically induced PSCs and enhances the differentiation of embryonic stem cells into cardiac myocytes. |
