Kanamycin Sulfate is a water-soluble antibiotic originally purified from the bacterium Streptomyces kanamyceticus . Kanamycin acts by binding to the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome and inhibiting protein synthesis in susceptible bacteria.This product is formulated with 0.85% NaCl solution with kanamycin dissolving in it. The concentration of this product is 10 mg/mL.
