Product Description

CrkL plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and survival, making CrkL an important target for understanding oncogenic processes. Located in the cytoplasm, CrkL interacts with various signaling molecules, facilitating signal transmission from cell surface receptors to downstream effectors, which is vital for maintaining normal cellular functions and responding to external stimuli. CrkL protein is characterized by one SH2 domain and two SH3 domains, allowing binding to phosphorylated tyrosine residues and mediating protein-protein interactions. This structural configuration is essential for signal transduction, as CrkL functions as an adaptor protein linking different signaling pathways, thereby influencing cellular responses to growth factors and other stimuli.
