Product Description

TREM1(Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1) also known as CD354 is a receptor belonging to the Ig superfamily that is expressed on myeloid cells. TREM1 plays a crucial role in the immune response by amplifying inflammation and promoting the activation of myeloid cells, particularly monocytes and neutrophils. TREM1 is selectively expressed on blood neutrophils and a subset of monocytes, but not in lymphocytes or dendritic cells, highlighting its specific involvement in innate immunity. TREM1 is a glycoprotein that undergoes post-translational modifications, including glycosylation, which is essential for stability and function; deglycosylation can lead to a reduction in predicted molecular mass. TREM1 forms complexes with DAP12, a signaling adaptor that enhances activating capabilities, thereby playing a significant role in the inflammatory response to pathogens.
